A very nice miniature specimen with good crystallization. There is a red patina on much of the specimen and pale green encrustations (which look more white in these photos). The Copper Falls Mine was opened in 1844 and closed in 1898. It is one of the earliest mines in the Keweenaw Peninsula and primarily worked fissure deposits.
