A large section of a Quartz crystal which has Anatase crystals on its surface and included within. The Anatase is a cinnamon brown color with a good luster. The crystals are translucent to nearly transparent. One of the crystals has inclusions of Rutile. Another crystal is almost entirely filled with Ruitle. There is also some Rutile present which is on the surface of the Quartz and is not included in the Anatase. At first, the Quartz looks like smoky Quartz. But actually it is white with a layer of clear material just below the crystal faces which besides the Anatase crystals has many dark inclusions. All but one of the Anatase crystals are undamaged and the damaged one is at the edge of the specimen. The crystal faces of the Quartz have a high luster and for the most part are damage free. There a couple of dings and a few internal fractures.
