This specimen consists of two rows of crystals. In each row, the crystals are in a parallel orientation. The crystals in one of the rows is considerably larger. Where the two rows of crystals meet, they form a "V" shape and are each is aligned at a different angle from the other row. The crystals are sharply terminated and well formed. The color is pleochroic and changes from a dark green to a green/brown depending upon the angle of view. The specimen is in very good condition with no appreciable damage. However, there are a few small chips on the edges of the termination with onlyone visible with a 10x loupe. The specimen was mounted on a thick round acrylic base with the date 7-91 written on the bottom. The base will also be shipped with the specimen.
