Two halves of a Datolite nodule which has been cut and polished. The color is white around the edges with some gray swirls and pastel green in the interior. The specimen has a high polish with no cracks. Please note: this is a different mine from the nearby Central Mine. This mine was worked from 1934-6 and from 1942-5. The last of the dumps were hauled away in 2012 for road building. Datolite specimens from this location are not often available.
