A cabinet sized specimen of Goethite from the iron mines of the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Two sides of the specimen exhibit chatoyant black colored growth patterns. The other sides are covered with ocher colored material. The center of the specimen is a seam where an opening filled in almost completely. The specimen is in good condition ; however, the specimen is massive material.
