A fan of elongated thin crystals of Calcite which are white to clear in color. The sides of the crystals are smooth with a very high glassy luster. The matrix is composed of black Gaudefroyite and orange red Andradite. Included in the tips of some of the clear Calcite crystals and also on the sides, there is an unidentified metallic black material which may be Hematite.
The specimen is in very good condition although most of the Calcite crystals end at a contact point and there is a line of internal cleavages in the middle of the fan of Calcite.
