This vug contains some highly unusual variations of sceptered Quartz. Some of the crystals are reversed scepters, some are pinched in the middle and some are bent. The scepter crystals are clear and maany have a glassy luster and others have a light orange iron coating. There are also lower temperature opaque rounded Quartz crystals. in many places, the sceptered crystals grew on top of the low temperature crystals. The specimen is in good condition with the only breakage on the very egdes of the vug.
