A unique Hemimorphite specimen with radiating sprays of crystals with a coating of an unidentified yellow material. My best guess would be these are microcrystals of Mimetite. Where there is none of this yellow material, the Hemimorphite is white to clear in color. In places, the Hemimorphite has grown on long thin stalactic growths of an unidentified dull black material. This same material covers much of the matrix and consists of small spherical aggregates. There are also thin platy Calcite crystals on the specimen which are white to off white in color. These are growing on the Hemimorphite, often on the tips of the crystals.
The specimen is in very good to excellent condition with no appreciable damage.
