Ex. A. Neely, 1960s
Bubbly stalactic growths of Chalcedony arise from a bed of banded agate. The color of the Chalcedony is a milky color with red and purple tints in the interior. The Agate is composed of tight bands with colors which include shades of ocher, light tan, reddish brown, and dark brown. From an obscure, old location which quite possibly is now under the Flaming Gorge Reservoir created by a dam completed in 1964.
The specimen is in fairly good condition but three of the tips of the stalactic growths are broken.
