The Tourmaline included in the Quartz in this specimen is composed of fine fibrous crystals and is asbestos like. The Tourmaline is for the most part white in color with areas that are blue/gray, yellow/brown, or red/brown. The specimen was labelled by a Brazilian dealer as being' Blue Quartz'. There are also inclusions of an unidentified material which is in layers of reddish brown and white. The Quartz is very clear and the inclusions are well displayed; however, it was very hard to get pictures of the inclusions due to the depth of field. The specimen is in very good condition with the exception of some minor wear/chips on the edges and termination.
