There are radiating sprays of crystals of Adamite on this specimen which are bicolor. The color near the center is a bit hard to describe with the closest I could find on a color chart as being labeled 'pale carmine' and is a mix of tones of orange, pink and a little purple. On the ends of the crystals, the color changes to a light yellow with a hint of green on some of the sprays. The proportion of the two colors is different from spray to spray. On some sprays, only a little of the yellow color can be found on the ends of the crystals. On other sprays, only a little of the pale carmine color can be found. The crystals have a high luster and fluoresce bright green under SW UV.
