Ex. H.R. McBroom, from trade with Isis Minerals, 1981
One side of this specimen is covered with small, thin bladed Hematite crystals while the other side is reddish colored, massive Hematite with many small, concave depressions with a scattering of small dark colored crystals. The bladed crystals (and those on the bottom) are black in color with a high metallic luster. The bladed crystals have a slight greenish iridescence. Because of the myriad of surfaces, the specimen displays a lot of sparkle.
The specimen is in very good condition with the exception that there are a few broken crystals. These are not noticeable unless one closely inspects the specimen.
