A relatively large Smoky Quartz crystal with a bright reddish color due to micro inclusions of Hematite just below the surface. The reddish colored side of the crystal has a high luster; however, the reverse side has a no luster and a dull gray color. A pastel peach colored Microcline crystal is perched on the termination. Goethite pseudomorphs after Siderite cover much of the dull side of the crystal.

Condition: Good

Flaws: The Microcline crystal at the termination is incomplete. The Goethite pseudomorphs are bruised which reveals the silvery colored interior. Although one area in the middle of the crystal, on the side, appears to be chipped and is a dark color without any of the red color, close examination reveals the surface to be composed of growth faces.
