Rhombic pink colored Manganoan Calcite crystals are covered with a layer of second generation, small, sharply pointed, pink colored Manganoan Calcite crystals which are in a parallel, epitaxial orientation. These smaller crystals have a good luster and because of the small size and the parallel orientation, the specimen has an overall silky, chatoyant luster. There are five places where a third generation of white colored crystals has grown in small stacks with the crystals orientated in multiple directions. The specimen is lightly fluorescent under both SW and LW, but stronger under LW. The color is orange with the underlying rhombic crystals the brightest.
Condition: Excellent
Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
