Ex. A. E. Seaman Museum (no museum label)

Clear to white colored Quartz crystals rising from a bed of massive Hematite. There are small areas of matted, fibrous Malachite scattered across some of the Quartz crystals. In area, at the base of some of he smaller Quartz crystals, there are small rosettes of bladed Hematite crystals. It is unusual to find Malachite and Hematite associated together, but the combination was often encountered at this location (all the specimens I know of were from the 1960s and 1970s). This specimen is from an old friend who was doing volunteer work at the Seaman museum while studying geology at Michigan Tech. and received the specimen for the help they provided.

Condition: Good

Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
