Semi gemmy Sphalerite crystals, the largest of which, has an elongated habit unusual for Sphalerite. The color is overall light brown with tints of both orange and green depending on the angle the crystals are viewed. The luster is greasy and there are some striations. The location is a working quarry about an hour outside of Toronto. However, collecting is only allowed twice a year through the Central Canadian Federation of Mineralogical Societies.
