A brecaited Rhyolite nodule which has been filled with Agate. The Agate exhibits white parallel lines against a gray background and reddish brown tube like structures. The surronding Rhyolite has a light, chocolate brown color. The specimen has a very well done, high polish. The name, Thuderegg, comes from the native American belief they were the eggs of Thunderbirds, mythic creatures which were belived to live on Mount Hood and Mount Jefferson.
Condition: Very Good
Flaws: There are hairline cracks in the brown, surronding matrix.
