A large plate composed of a multitude of Pyrrhotite crystals which are dark, chocolate brown color with a submetallic luster. The crystals are hexagonal in habit in parallel layered stacks. The stacks are at various divergent angles from one another. Spherical aggregates of Dolomite rest on thesurface of the specimen. These aggregates have an attractive orange color with a high luster. The color is likely due to a layer of iron oxides. Also present on the surfaces are small, golden colored Chalcopyrite crystals.

Flaws: There is a damaged area near the middle of the specimen . A few of the crystals edges are damaged. There a few cracks running perpendicular to the crystals.
