Ex. University of Michigan - 1933, Ex. Cureton Mineral Co., Ex. Southwest Mineral Co., Ex. Carnegie Museum - White collection
Clear to white colored Sodalite crystals in vugs in a green to black matrix described as a mix of Phlogopite, Diopside and hornblende. The Sodalite crystals have a high glassy luster. Please note: there are three different labels present, two of which mention a 1933 University of Michigan label, which sadly, is not present. The specimen is from a small collection from a suburb of Detroit and was purchased at the Detroit show a few years ago at the silent auction the Carnegie museum used to have there. Unfortunately, the Carnegie label is also missing.
Condition: Good
Flaws: Some of the Sodalite crystals not within the vugs are broken.
