The Red Cloud Mine is famous for its Wulfenite specimens, but surprisingly, very few Mimetite specimens were found. On this specimen, the Mimetite is present as a druze of richly colored deep red/orange colored crystals on a matrix composed of a conglomerate of brecciated massive Quartz. Interestingly, the label that came with the specimen has the wrong county listed for the specimen.

Condition: Fairly Good

Flaws: There are places where the underlying componets of the conglomerate is broken and the white Quartz shows.
