A thin layer of crudely formed Calcite crystals in a botryoidal habit formed from precipitating ground water. The location is a dump formed from the dumping of poor rock from several local mines. This is an unusual specimen from the location because Calcite is not even listed on mindat from the location despite 87 other species being listed. The color ranges from a pastel yellow/green to gray with some reddish areas. The specimen does not fluoresce.
