Ex. Robert Gannon

This specimen consists of a cluster of radiating Smoky Quartz crystals with one crystals standing upright. The Smoky Quartz crystals are very clear and transparent and light in color. On the surface of the Quartz crystals, there are small dark colored Hematite crystals and in places, a thin coating of reddish brown Hematite. In places, there is also low temperature Chalcedony on the surface of the crystals. The color of the Chalcedony varies from white to cream to pastel orange to green. The green coloration is likely due to Copper staining. The Chalcedony has a number of casts and pseudomorphs after cubic crystals.

Condition: Good

Flaws: There is one conichoidal fracture area in the middle of the main crystal.
