Two crystals of very gemmy and transparent Diaspore which has a high glassy luster. The color changes somewhat depending on the light source and is dichroic (direcetional). Under CFL, the color is a light yellow/beige with slight green tints which is more apparent at certain angles. Under overhead fluorescent lighting, the green tint is more pronounced. Under incandescent lighting, the color is quite different exhibiting reddish tints. Outdoors, under overcast skies, the green color is present. It would be nice to observe what color is present in direct sunlight, but here in Michigan, in the winter, it could be days before the sun is shining again. The crystals are conjoined at one end and the other ends glued onto the stryofoam base of a thumbnail box.
Condition: Good
Flaws: The side of one crystal is a cleavage plane,
