A druze of micro crystals of Andradite partially cover silvery gray colored Hematite crystals. There are a few, larger, well formed Andradite crystals in one area of the specimen which are darker in color. The Andradite has a sparkly luster. The Hematite is present in two distinct crystal habits and has a metallic luster.
