The surface of this specimen is covered with Sphalerite specimens in a variety of habits and sizes. Of particular note are the smaller Rubyjack crystals which have a good red color and glossy luster. The larger crystals are black in color and the habit is different. There are also well formed, cubic Galena crystals present. The matrix is a light gray colored Chert which on the surface has formed a fine druze of micro Quartz crystals.
Condition: Good
Flaws: There are a few small areas, near the edges of the specimens, where small Sphalerite crystals are broken which produces a lighter, orange color.
