A large, pink colored, Manganoan Calcite crystal which is encased in Dolomite. Upon the surface of Dolomite, a second generation of small Calcite crystals and Pyrite crystals have grown. The underlying Manganoan Calcite is a light pink color and has banded growth layers. Under UV, this Calcite fluoresces a light orange/pink color (stronger LW than SW). The Dolomite crystals are off white in color and have a matte luster. The small Calcite crystals range in color from white to white with a slight pink color which is less noticable in person than some of the pictures suggest. These small crystals have a high luster and many are transparent.
Condition: Excellent
Flaws: Nothing Appreciable
