A radiating cluster of elongated Ilvaite crystals with a squarish cross section. The Ilvaite crystals are coated with a thin layer of micro crystals of gray/green colored Hedenbergite. Additionally, Hedenbergite has grown on the terminations of the Ilvaite crystals in shapes reminiscent of cauliflower. On some of the terminations, the layer of Hedenbergite is missing which reveals the black, lustrous Ilvaite beneth. There is also silver colored Arsenopyrite present on one side of the specimen.
Condition: Good
Flaws: The layer of Hedenbergite has peeled off in a few places, most notably the terminations of several of the Ilvaite crystals.
