A cluster of light yellow/brown colored, hexagonal Calcite crystals perched on light blue violet colored Fluorite. The Calcite crystals are well formed with smooth surfaces. The Calcite is translucent to nearly transparent in places. The Fluorite is also translucent with a few places with a darker purple color. Near the Calcite crystals, there is an internal cleave in the Fluorite into which iron oxides have penetrated which gives the Fluorite in the surronding area a citrine like color. In places, the Fluorite has an interesting stepped surface. The bottom of the specimen is a cleaved plane which gives the specimen a perfect, flat base.
Condition: Good
Flaws: Some of the faces of the Fluorite are cleavage planes. The Calcite crystals are in very good condition. The specimen appears to have been oiled which is so common with Chinese Fluorite specimens.
