The Pyrite crystals on this specimen have curved surfaces and a high luster. There is also some unidentified black colored material present which is likely Sphalerite. Specimens from this location are quite rare to come by. Although also in the Thunder Bay District, the mine is nowhere near the better known Amethyst location, the closest of which is approximately 200 km away.
Condition: Fairly Good
Flaws: There is some wear on some of the edges of the crystals.
