An unusual and atypical Quartz specimen from a location famous for Herkimer Diamonds. The surface of the specimen is covered with small Quartz crystals which are colored a light brown color due to the inclusions of hydrocarbons. In a few of the crystals, these inclusions are a much darker, black color. The crystals have a high sparkly luster and form rounded mounds which correspond to hollow areas underneath the specimen.
Condition: Good
Flaws: There are a two missing crystals and few other crystals are bruisied.
