The Sphalerite crystals on this specimen exhibit quite unusual habits, especially the thin, curved crystal that projects outward. The Sphalerite is black in color with a greasy luster and opaque. The color may only be so deep; there are a couple of small broken crystals on the bottom which exposes reddish brown, semi gemmy material in the interior. There are also a few Galena crystals exhibiting cuboctahedral habits; the largest of which has stepped faces.
Condition: Excellent
Flaws: The only damage is a few small cleaves is on the bottom of the specimen where, interestingly, it can be seen the interior of the Sphalerite is a semi gemmy, reddish amber color.
