Ex. Steve Pullman from Sid Williams Feb. 1997
Orthocrysotile was originally considered a valid species but the IMA in 2006 discredited it as a species and it is now considered a polytype of Crysotile. It is present here as a layer of massive, layered, light orange material which exhibits a thick, fibrous habit in a few small areas. On top pf the Orthcyrsotile is a layer of white Calcite with encased crystals of black Franklinite and reddish Zincite. A few of the Franklinite crystals are intact and in good condition. Under SW UV, the Calcite fluoresces a bright orange and green fluorescing Willemite can be seen to be present.
Condition: Fairly Good
Flaws: Many of the Franklinite crystals are incomplete as well as all the Zincite crystals.
