Ex. Norm Woods
A thin, cleaved section of Fluorite crystals. The surface of one side is composed of multiple cubic Fluorite crystals. Small, white Calcite crystals cover some of the faces of some of the Fluorite crystals; all of the Calcite is on the same side of the Fluorite crystals. The color is a reddish violet rather distinctive for Rosiclare which is a less common location than Cave-In-Rock in Hardin County. The purple color is only near the surfaces with some zoning. The rest of the specimen is a dull beige/yellow/gray color. Although the specimen will stand on its own, it is precarious and a stand is best for display purposes. The pronged stand seen the pictures can be sent with the specimen, but is used and a bit scratched.
Condition: Good
Flaws: A few of the edges of the Fluorite crystals have some wear and a few of the crystals have internal cleaves.
