An interesting Quartz specimen which has one thick, double terminated Smoky Quartz crystal attached to a group of parallel, conjoined, double terminated Quartz crystals. The larger crystal is a very dark color for the most part, almost black with a slight brown tint. In the middle of this crystal, the color is a light gray, almost white. This crystal ranges in transparency from fairly opaque in the lighter colored center to clear with the clearest section being the termination which is attached to the other, lighter colored crystals. The other crystals are mostly opaque and light gray in color with the exception of the terminations which are a much darker color and are transparent at the very ends. Several of these smaller crystals are double terminated; however, the majority merge into one crystal at one end. This end at first glance appears to be broken, but there are growth patterns on the surfaces; it may have broken and then later healed. Interestingly, the specimen displays well without a stand with either the darker crystal rising from the other crystals or as a base.
Condition: Good
Flaws: The larger end of the lighter colored crystals appears to have broken in the past and the surface later healed.
