This specimen consists of a number of conjoined, parallel orientated Calcite crystals. On one side of the specimen, there are small Natorlite crystals, two larger Stilbite crystals and an unidentified druze of a an orange/brown color. On approximately half of the other side of specimen, there is a coating of coarse druze white Quartz. The Calcite has a satiny luster with smooth surfaces and is translucent. A note on the location: this is a quote from mindat.org regarding the location " All the minerals listed for Bound Brook actually occur at the Chimney Rock Quarry, the Chimney Rock Copper Mine and related, nearby prospects in the upper-most 18 inches of the Passaic formation and overlying Orange Mountain basalt. All these localities are in Bridgewater Township. "
