Ex. Kirk Valuet collected by A. Bohne
This is classic lapidary material, highly sought after. Radially puprle and white banded Fluorite. There is also a brown layer of Fluorite at the top with brown crystal faces on the surface. There is also a vug in the Fluorite in which is massive white Barite. This is from the Alan Bohne collection who obtained this and several other specimens on a trip to Scotland to visit his relatives. He got these specimens from his Uncle Angus, who was into lapidary. The specimen was previously sold to Kirk Valuet and then repurchased along with his collection.
Condition: Fairly Good
Flaws: There are some cracks in the sides but the specimen is solid and sturdy. If one wished to polish the specimen, Opticon might be a good option. Many of the corners of the crystals are worn.
From the Alan Bohne collection
