Diploid Pyrite crystals have 24 or more faces and resemble Garnet crystals in shape. This is quite a rare habit for Pyrite except at the Duff Quarry where it is the rule rather than the exception. Many of the smaller crystals on this specimen are iridescent which is also common from the location.

Flaws: One of the larger crystals is incomplete.
