13.1 x 9.7 x 4 cm
5.2 x 3.8 x 1.6 in

Ex. Norm Woods

A plate of Calcite crystals partially coated with a druze of Marcasite crystals. The Marcasite crystals have a reddish brown iridescent color and are very sparkly. The Calcite crystals are modified rhombs with beveled edges. There are two generations of Calcite crystals. The second generation crystals have grown over the Marcasite in places and are clear enough so that the underlying Marcasite can be seen in places. The Calcite crystals have a high satiny luster and smooth faces. A very attractive specimen.

Condition: Good

Flaws: A couple of the Calcite crystals are incomplete and there is some minor wear on the edges of a few of the other crystals.
